yeah. it's a rule i live by.
and its coming into play now more than ever, while waiting for my sat scores.

yeah, i know its better to have a positive outlook on life. to expect the unexpected
to always have hope, despite the circumstances.
but! its easier to just be realistic...
they say to aim for the moon, so you will land among the stars.
but wouldnt that be disappointing?
over the years i've come to realize that just doing my best and lowering my own expectations.

makes life so much easier.
(however. this is such a bad advice to give others. keep it to yourself please)
